Are you getting low click throughs from a top listing on Google?
You cannot do anything about the url now as you have put in a lot of work under the current one BUT you can change the text by changing the description in your meta tags.
Think of your description tags as your google ad because that is essentially what it is. Although you cannot make it too much like an ad you can certainly add words in there that are going to make more people click through.
Brush up on your copy writing skills, make your description more appealing. The meta tag for description is (meta name=”DESCRIPTION”). Do you even have one?
Do a search on google - Check out the top listings then have a look at the source code(View- Source) of their site to view their description tags. Some will be compelling and make you want to click through, other will not. The ones with the compelling description tags will be getting more click throughs. Maybe a lot more.
Some people are leaving a lot of website traffic sitting on the table by not making these simple changes.
