Plug in Profit Site Conversion Rates
Rami, over at the Warrior forum asked why he wasn’t seeing any conversions of this Plugin Profit Site traffic in spite of using good quality traffic like Google Adwords.
This was my contribution to the discussion:
Hi Rami
The conversion of your pips page will be determined by the quality of your traffic.
Adwords can send highly qualified traffic but YOU have to qualify it and that will depend on your keywords and ads.
For instance if you are highlighting the free aspect of pips in your ads, this is only an example, then you would get a lot of free loaders more than likely unwilling to pay the fee to get a pips site.
Are you using the -free keyword to stop your ads coming up for keywords with “free” in the phrase? Are you using the brackets in your keyword lists?
Here’s a free tool for wrapping and targeting your adwords:
http://www.googedit.com/2/edit-adsense-word-lists-easily-with-googedit/
It used the be a straight download but now they are asking for your email first.
These things will make the difference in your traffic quality and also save you a lot of money on wasted advertising.
Try also qualifying your traffic and saving money by putting something like “Only $39.95″ at the end of your ad. It will cut the traffic down but you will also see a bigger conversion rate.
I highly recommend Perry Marshalls Adwords Guide if you are going to be doing adwords.
