Stone Adds Reverse Funnel System to Plugin Profit Site

Stone has recently added Ty Coughlins’ Reverse Funnel system to his list of recommended programs at pips.

This will spell a big payday for Stone and the chance for some other pipsters to make some great money IF they know what they are doing or are at least willing to put sustained effort into learning.

I personally, got on board with RFS a couple of days ago and have setout to add as many leads as I can using the resources I have at hand.

On first glance, the Reverse Funnel system is impressive. Their training is excellent with daily conference calls and a comprehensive list of over 1000 advertising resources to choose from.

I stand to make $1000 from each sale of the Global Resorts Network that I make. RFS is the system used to promote GRN. GRN can be promoted without RFS but from the research I have done, Ty’s system is definitely pulling more weight than any other system out there.

Not every plugin profit site member will get on board with this system. In fact, it will be a small % of the overall membership that do. I am one of them and over the coming weeks and months will try my utmost to make it a very profitable venture. Watch this space and my other sites for updates!

Persistence is the Key to Build a Successful Plugin Profit Site Business

Now that you have a plugin profits site you absolutely have to keep working to make it successful. That means doing the little things daily to create momentum.

If you don’t creat a budget to keep your business going then you are going to run out of money. So a budget is important.

Mindset is the next factor and probably the most important thing you will ever learn about online or in life in general. I have some ebooks that you can download for free that will blow your mind:

I have said it before on this blog - I am not very organized or disciplined..BUT I do know the difference and the increased profits that come when I am doing the right things.

I tend to work in fits and starts. I get periods where I will do a blog post daily and write articles, post on forums, answer my emails in a timely fashion, you know, the thing you must do to grow a successful business.

Then there are times when I’m a slacker, very little gets done, only the maintenance work, to keep the money coming in.

Up ’til now I have been relatively successful. What I HAVE done is I have persisted. Maybe not daily but I’m back at it time and time again. For the first few years it was tough for me but the rewards are fantastic if you just KEEP AT IT!

The moral of the story is - You don’t need to be perfect, just persistent.

Do You Need to Change Your Plugin Profit Site?

Jeff Schuman of the Make Money Online site made a point over at the Warrior forum of how much his Plugin profit site had changed over the years.

Here’s what Jeff S. has to say:

Once you comprehend that you control everything about it having your own website is very exciting. With blogging you can really even do a lot more and not have to learn html at all.

But if you would teach yourself the basics of html it really will give you a lot of new freedom in your business.

I think that any business is meant to evolve whether a plugin site or not, that includes the occasional makeover.

I have make literally 100s of changes to my websites over the years. Some major, some minor tweaks.

I’m always changing things around to try for better results.

Sometimes I use my split testing software which you can find out more about here. At other times I make little changes and keep a close eye on activity through my website visitor tracking account.

So, change is GOOD!

At one stage I added 100s of database articles to each of my sites, only to remove them again. They did more damage than good to more than one of my home business websites. The duplicate articles - 100s of seperate webpages(one page per article) - didn’t draw any website traffic and at least one search engine penalized me for having them on my site(Yahoo).

I am seeing more and more that the only effective way to build traffic is to add UNIQUE content. I am doing most of that writing myself. I can outsource it but I always end up tweaking the content anyhow, so it’s easier to write an article. I can do this in around 10 minutes on a good day.

If you are going to add content I would advise that you either write it yourself or if you can find a good writer at a reasonable price then have them do it for you. Another drawback of outsourcing the work is that I have to check it to make sure that the content is indeed original and not copied from someone elses’ work.

Many people are not able to write their own stuff especially if English is not their first language. In this case it is definitely better to hire a ghostwriter. I have used Elance.com and Guru.com in the past for my articles.

I can also recommend Jeff Schuman’s article writing package. I have used Jeff’s service a couple of times in the past and have been very happy with his work.

Now don’t go adding or changing things if you have just started. Changes are meant to evolve over time. Learn the business first of all.

Also, any changes you make don’t have to me major. Changing or adding little things can make your site unique.

Increasing Your Plugin Conversions

Increase Conversions for SFI and Your Plugin Profit Site Newsletter Signups

Today I want to give away a strategy that I am using to increase my SFI signups and also increase the % of newsletter subscribers that actually confirm their subscription.

It turns out that I can kill two birds with one stone - so to speak - by using a well laid out Getresponse newsletter confirmation page.

The thankyou page is the page that my subscribers see on subscribing to my newsletter. This url should go into your Getresponse subscriber form. Click here to see where you need to edit your form. This form can be found in your Pips index.html file.

Another place you can promote your offers is on your Getresponse confirmation page. If your subscribers must click a confirmation link to get your newsletter, as mine do, then this is the page they will see:

Click here for a screenshot showing where you add your ‘thankyou2.html’ page link in your Getresponse control panel. From within your getresponse account go to Campaigns - Campaign Settings - Click the ‘Subscribers’ tab.

The thankyou page is also used to encourage your prospects to confirm their subscription. I use double optins for my newsletter so the prospects need to click a link in the email to actually receive my newsletter.

You will see on this page that I also put a link to my SFI free signup. I have found that this is a much more effective way to get sfi signups than sending visitors straight to my sfi links from my webpages.

Think about it! Your visitor has already taken action by subscribing to your newsletter, so they are more susceptible to looking at your offers.

This works much on the same principle as ‘One Time Offers’ where internet marketers offer another product immediately after their customer has already purchased. The coversions on OTOs is amazing 30%, 40%, sometimes higher.

You can also put your pips affiliate link on the thankyou page. I go for the free option as I have a much better chance of getting them on board. I can then convert them to the Plugin Profits system later.

You should diversify ways of getting prospects into your contact list whether through sfi, your newsletter or other avenues. That way you have a chance of getting them to signup for your other programs like PIPS at a later date.

It is important to know that there are many little tweaks you can make to any site or sales process to increase signups and overall profits.

The above is just one example. I hope it has helped or at least got you thinking for yourself

Stick to Your Budget

Budgeting for Your Plugin Profit Business

One of the most frequent gripes I get from my Plugin profit site downline is that they have spent a lot of money with nothing to show.

If that is the case with you then I have to ask: Who’s fault is this?

If you are serious about running an online business then you MUST take responsibility for everything that goes on in this business - especially your budget.

When you get involved with home business and internet marketing then you are likely to be bombarded on a daily basis with offers - all promising to make your fortune. Guess what though! You DO NOT have to buy!

When getting started with Stone Evans‘ Plugin Profit Program or any online business for that matter you should set an affodable monthly budget and more importantly stick to it - No matter how enticing the service or product that you are being offered seems to be.

You should get yourself into the mindset that this business is for the long haul. Things will not happen for you overnight. If you set a realistic, affordable budget then you are more likely to persist for as long as it takes to succeed.

Always remember that YOU and only you will determine your success or failure in this business.

Adding Multiple Streams of Income to Your Plugin Profit Sites

Have you though about adding more offers to your Plugin profit site? Or maybe replacing some of the offers that you have on there?

I have posted a few different affiliate network offers on some of my sites and am getting good results.

You can see an example at my Home Based Business site. Check the banner and buttons down the right hand side of the page.

You can get paid everyting someone fills out a form through your link and for many other types of actions completed by your website visitors.

So if you are getting visitors to your Plugin website and are not seeing any return, this may be a great way to at least earn a few dollars per month to offset your costs.

Start Blogging Regularly

Blogging will Certainly Increase Your Website Traffic

How many of you post regularly to your Plugin Profit Site blogs? Do you have a blog yet? If not you should get one and start adding some content, preferably unique content.

I think Google is getting back to basics.

The basics of the web is content and writing unique articles in some of my blogs, opposed to scraped or articles taken from the databases, is definitely seeing an increase in my Google traffic.

Google may not punish duplicate traffic but from my experience they definitely Reward those that are posting totally unique content to their sites.

Blogs are a great way to do this regularly.

Aim for 1 post per day. That’s not too hard to do.

Anyway, if you want to make it online YOU must discipline yourself to do things persistently. Start with your blog.

When Did I First Join Plugin Profit Site?

I joined Stone Evans Plugin Profit Site way back near the beginning of 2003 and I’m still promoting it today. That has to say something about this program.

I was one of the first people to sign up for a PIPS site. I cannot quite remember how I found it, I believe through Yahoo. Yahoo? Yeah it was that long ago. Google’s mammy and daddy hadn’t even given birth to baby Google yet[:D]

Anyway, I had been just getting into promoting affiliate programs and when I saw Stones site I loved the idea behind it all.

PIPS wasn’t unique even then. There were plenty of program that you could have your site setup with affiliate ids inserted, but I hadn’t seen any that actually included your own domain name and hosting etc. PLUS a newsletter. The 360 day campaign really attracted me.

Starting to build that newsletter list way back then is paying off for me today.

Pips is one of the most enduring programs online and still the best way for any newbie to get started in Internet Marketing.

Checking over my website visitors stats lately I was suprprised to see that a fair % of my site visitors are repeat visitors.

This surprised me because I do not have much on this particular site other than a few links and a subscription form.

Do you have an easy way for visitors to add your Plugin Profit site to their favourites? Like a quick javascript button like the one I have here: Home Based Business Ideas .

If not, you may be leaving money sitting on the table. These buttons are easy to install, you can even copy the one from my site and paste it into your own plugin site.

I see some of my visitors are visiting for the sixth time, just from todays stats.
